Create a cutout of the moon and clouds from white poster paper, decorate with
glitter and hang from the ceiling with ribbon.
Pile up pillows with fun colored pillowcases.
Buy inexpensive white pillowcases, fabric paint and stamps and let guests stamp
a personalized design on their pillowcases.
Supply blank notebooks with a plain cover, scraps of colored paper and
magazines for cutouts and stickers. Using glue and decoupage, the kids decorate
their own notebooks, then use them to write down dreams.

Have all the guests sit around in a circle. The birthday person starts off by
whispering a silly phrase or tongue twister only once to the next person. That
person repeats the message to the next in line, and so on around the circle.
Finally, the last person announces the message, which in most cases will be
laughably different from the original!
Before the party rent several favorite kids' movies, then record famous lines
or scenes from them onto a cassette. At the party, play the tape and let guests
take turns trying to name the movie title and artists.
Hand out glow-in-the-dark stickers, have guests stick them on their PJs, then
turn out the lights. The person who's "it" has to try to tag someone,
using the stickers as a guide. Beforehand, be sure to clear the room of
anything that could cause injury.
