Agave Berry Jam
Ingredients List
- 2 lbs. - cleaned fresh blueberries, or strawberries (hulled and crushed)
- 1 cup - Domino® Organic Light Agave Nectar
- 1/4 cup - fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Place all ingredients into a medium sized, heavyweight saucepan over medium heat. Allow mixture to come to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally, until it thickens. Place jam into airtight containers and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, or can and store at room temperature.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
Variations: Raspberries may be used in place of blueberries or strawberries. Change amounts to: 12 ounces of cleaned, fresh raspberries 1/2 cup Domino® Organic Light Agave Nectar and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. Simmer for 45 minutes, until thickened.
