Chocolate Almond Frosting

A Rich, Fudgy, Nutty Frosting for that Special Cake

Ingredients List

Chocolate Almond Frosting
  • 4 oz. - semisweet chocolate (4 squares), melted
  • 2 oz. - unsweetened chocolate (2 squares), melted
  • 1 cup - Domino® Confectioners Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - butter or margarine (1/2 stick), softened
  • 1 tablespoon - almond liqueur or almond extract
  • 1/2 cup - almonds, sliced and toasted

Instructions

In medium bowl, beat all ingredients, except sliced almonds, 5 minutes or until smooth. Frost cake. Pat almonds around sides of cake.

Makes enough frosting for one cake layer.

Quick Tip

Recipe can be doubled for a two-layer cake.
