Creamy Lemon Frosting
A Refreshing Lemon Topping for Any Cake
- 2 cups - Domino® Confectioners Sugar
- 1/4 cup - butter or margarine (1/2 stick), softened
- 1/2 teaspoon - lemon rind, finely grated
- 1 1/2 tablespoon - lemon juice
In medium bowl, beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in lemon rind and juice until creamy and smooth. Add more lemon juice, if necessary, to make a good spreading consistency.
Makes enough for a one-layer cake.
Double this recipe to frost a two-layer cake.
