Quick Fudge Frosting

Thick Fudgy Goodness for Cakes or Cupcakes

Ingredients List

Quick Fudge Frosting
  • 3 3/4 cups - Domino® Confectioners Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/4 teaspoon - salt
  • 6 tablespoons - boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon - vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup - butter or margarine (1 stick), softened

Instructions

In large bowl, combine sugar, cocoa and salt. With an electric mixer, beat in boiling water, vanilla and butter until smooth and thick.

Yields 2 cups.

Quick Tip

For a richer, darker frosting, use Dutch-processed cocoa powder.
