Sweet and Spicy Nuts
Ingredients List
- 2 - egg whites
- 2 tablespoons - soy sauce
- 2 cups - pecan halves
- 2 cups - walnut halves
- 2/3 cup - Domino® Granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoon - cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons - chili powder
- 2 teaspoons - ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon - ground ginger
Instructions
Preheat oven to 275°F. Grease a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
In large bowl, mix egg whites and soy sauce. Add nuts and toss to coat. Mix sugar and remaining spices; sprinkle over nuts. Stir until nuts are completely coated.
Spread nuts in single layer in pan. Bake about 30 minutes or until toasted. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
Makes about 4 cups.
