Maple Sesame Almonds

Maple Sesame Almonds

Sesame, cardamom and a dash of salt are sprinkled onto these maple almonds for a crunchy and sweet fall snack.

2 pounds almonds

  • 1/4 cup Domino® Maple Flavored Granules
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 2 pounds raw almonds
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a sheet pan with sides with parchment paper.

Mix maple flavored granules and water until all of the granules have dissolved.

Place almonds in a medium bowl. Spoon 2 tablespoons of maple liquid over almonds and toss to coat. Spread almonds out onto prepared pan. Drizzle with remaining maple liquid. Sprinkle cardamom, salt and sesame seeds onto the almonds. Gently move almonds around on the sheet pan to coat.

Roast 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on the pan.

Once almonds have cooled completely, spoon into an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
