Agave Berry Jam
2 1/2 cups jam
- 2 pounds fresh blueberries, cleaned (or strawberries, hulled and crushed)
- 1 cup Domino® Organic Blue Agave Nectar Syrups
- 1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Place all ingredients into a medium heavyweight saucepan over medium heat. Allow mixture to come to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 45 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Place jam into airtight containers and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, or can and store at room temperature.
Variations: Raspberries may be used in place of blueberries or strawberries. Change amounts to 12 ounces of cleaned, fresh raspberries, 1/2 cup agave nectar and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. Simmer for 45 minutes, until thickened.
