Agave Sweet and Savory Crostini

Brushing olive oil and agave onto your bread before baking elevates the taste of your chosen crostini toppings.

YIELDS

12 to 18 slices

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Domino® Organic Blue Agave Nectar Syrups
  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread, regular or gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon kosher salt, for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare large baking sheet.

In a small bowl, add olive oil and blue agave syrup; whisk until blended.

Cut bread into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange slices on prepared baking sheet. With pastry brush, coat each side with the agave/oil mixture.

Bake until golden brown, approximately 5 to 8 minutes on each side. Garnish with kosher salt if desired.

Cool and serve.
