Agave Sweet and Savory Crostini
12 to 18 slices
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Domino® Organic Blue Agave Nectar Syrups
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread, regular or gluten-free
- 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon kosher salt, for garnish (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare large baking sheet.
In a small bowl, add olive oil and blue agave syrup; whisk until blended.
Cut bread into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange slices on prepared baking sheet. With pastry brush, coat each side with the agave/oil mixture.
Bake until golden brown, approximately 5 to 8 minutes on each side. Garnish with kosher salt if desired.
Cool and serve.
Delicious served with Agave Cranberry-Orange Chutney and a sprinkling of crumbled goat cheese.
