Bananas Foster Muffins

You’ll be the belle of your brunch with these Bananas Foster muffins. Our 4-in-1 muffin base makes Southern cooking simple, transforming a standard muffin into a banana-filled bite of buttery goodness!

  • 1 recipe 4-in-1 Muffin Mix
  • 2 bananas, diced
  • 3 tablespoons Domino® Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 2 teaspoons rum extract
  • 3 tablespoons Domino® Dark Brown Sugar


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 12-cup muffin pan and set aside.

Prepare 4-in-1 Muffin Mix as directed.

In a saucepan on stove top over medium heat, add bananas, light brown sugar, butter and rum extract. Heat until mixture becomes syrupy and bananas are coated in the syrup. Cool mixture 1 to 2 minutes. Fold into the batter.

Fill each muffin cup 3/4 full. Sprinkle some dark brown sugar on top. Bake 14 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.

Serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
