5 cups

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups Bartlett pears
  • 1 1/2 cups Gala or Fuji apples
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 cup dried figs
  • 1/2 cup dried dates
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/3 cup Domino® Honey Granules
  • 1/4 cup Kosher sweet red wine (optional)

Finely chop pecans into small pieces; set aside.

Wash, peel and finely chop pears and apples. Zest lemon peel; set aside.

In a large bowl, juice lemon and pour over pears and apples. Stir and cover with plastic wrap, pressing down onto the pears and apples so the plastic wrap touches them.

Finely chop the figs and dates. Stir into the pears and apples.

In a medium bowl, mix the cinnamon, cardamom and Honey Granules together. Add pecans into the Honey Granules mixture along with optional wine; stir into the fruit. Lightly fold in lemon zest. Cover with the plastic wrap again, pressing it onto the top of the mixture.

Chill for 1 hour before serving.
