Cool as a Cucumber Dill Salad
6 cups; 8 to 10 servings
- 2 cups Domino® Granulated Sugar
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, vinegar and salt. Mix until the sugar is dissolved. Add cucumber, onions and dill.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Transfer to a travel-safe container if bringing to a BBQ or party.
Serve alongside your grilled foods or try it as a topping for a sweet and tangy take on burgers or hotdogs.
