Grilled Pineapple with Rum Raisin Ice Cream

Try this pineapple-infused ice cream treat!

  • 1 fresh pineapple, ripe
  • 1/4 cup Domino® Granulated Sugar
  • 1 pint rum raisin ice cream


Peel and core pineapple. Cut into 1/2 inch thick slices. Sprinkle the pineapple slices with sugar and grill over medium-low heat until nicely browned, turning once.

Remove from grill and immediately top with a scoop of rum raisin ice cream; serve.


When purchasing fresh pineapple, look for one that is slightly soft to the touch and has a golden color. The leaves should be firm and green. Avoid pineapples with soft spots and bruises.
