about 2 cups sprinkles
- 2 cups Domino® Confectioners Sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons meringue powder
- 3 tablespoons warm water
- assorted food coloring
In a bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat confectioners' sugar, meringue powder and warm water until stiff peaks form, about 5 to 7 minutes. If icing is too thick, add a couple of drops of water. If icing is too thin, add additional confectioners' sugar; continue beating until desired consistency is reached.
To make sprinkles, prepare 4 batches of recipe, using desired food coloring. Place icing in pastry bag fitted with a 1-inch tip. Pipe lines of icing onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow to dry thoroughly, about 15 minutes. Break into desired sprinkle lengths.
Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
