- 1 ounce Irish whiskey
- 2 teaspoons Domino® Granulated Sugar
- 4 ounces brewed dark roast coffee, hot
- 2 tablespoons lightly whipped cream
In a small, heavy saucepan, heat the whiskey and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Pour into a warm 7-ounce cup or Irish coffee glass. Blend in the coffee.
Rest the neck of an inverted spoon over the glass. Slowly pour the whipped cream over the back of the spoon to form a floating layer of cream. Do not stir. Serve immediately.
Use a strong, rich coffee such as Java or Sumatran, to balance the whiskey. And remember, this is an "Adults Only" beverage!
