Passover Apple Crisp
- 6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 cup Domino® Granulated Sugar , divided
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 cup matzo cake meal
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons margarine
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
In large bowl, combine apples, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice. Pour into baking dish.
In medium bowl, blend remaining 1/2 cup sugar, matzo cake meal, salt, margarine and nuts until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle mixture over apples.
Bake 1 hour until crust is lightly browned. Serve hot with a dollop of non-dairy whipped topping.
