Pecan Blondies

Toast the chopped pecans in these buttery blondies for an extra layer of crunchy flavor.

  • 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup firmly packed Domino® Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 8-inch square baking pan.

In small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Beat in melted butter. Gradually beat in flour mixture until blended. Stir in nuts.

Spread evenly into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.


For chip lovers, add 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, butterscotch chips or peanut butter chips.
