Pie Dough Dippers

This fun party twist on apple pie turns crust into a dippable dessert!

YIELDS

50 to 60 dippers

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Flaky Pie Pastry Double Crust recipe
  • 1 egg, mixed with 2 teaspoons water
  • Domino® Granulated Sugar for sprinkling

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare parchment-lined baking sheet.

Make pie dough according to instructions. Roll out to 1/4” inch thickness. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Using a pastry cutter, cut dough into 1/2”-inch strips. Cut long strips into 3”-inch dippers.

Using a spatula to lift the dough, place dippers in rows on prepared baking sheet. Be sure they do not touch one another.

Bake 7 to 9 minutes, or until slightly golden in color.
