Pink Grapefruit Ice

Garnish this icy grapefruit treat for a refreshing summer dessert.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup Domino® Quick Dissolve Superfine Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 3 cups pink grapefruit juice, freshly sqeezed
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine
  • mint sprigs for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Stir sugar into cold water until dissolved. Add grapefruit juice, lime juice and grenadine. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions or place in 9-inch baking pan and freeze, stirring several times to break up any large chunks.

Serve in small scoops garnished with mint sprigs.

QUICK TIP

One grapefruit yields about 1/2 cup fresh-squeezed juice.

One medium lime yields about 2 to 3 tablespoons fresh juice.
