Super Glazed Strawberry Pie
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup Domino® Granulated Sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin powder
- 1 cup water, boiling
- 4 cups strawberries, cleaned and hulled
- 1 9-inch pie crust, baked and cooled
Combine water, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. In separate bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add to sugar mixture. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat until clear and partly thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and cool until slightly set.
Arrange strawberries within 9-inch crust. Pour gelatin mixture over berries. Refrigerate until set.
Serve topped with whipped cream, if desired.
