Banana Bread

  • 1 1/2 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon - baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon - salt
  • 3/4 cup - firmly packed Domino® Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup - butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup - (2-3) mashed, ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup - milk


Preheat oven to 350 °F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat brown sugar and butter in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs and bananas. On low speed, gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; invert onto cooling rack. Cool completely. Wrap in foil or plastic wrap and store overnight before slicing.

Makes 1 loaf.
