Bourbon Brown Sugar Latte

Ingredients

For the brown sugar syrup

  • ½ cup Domino® Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Water
  • Pinch Salt 

For the latte

  • Ice
  • 2 shots Espresso
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar syrup
  • 1 ounce Bourbon
  • 6 ounces Whole milk, or milk of choice

Step 1

Prepare the syrup. In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients for the syrup. Simmer the mixture and stir until all the sugar has dissolved and the syrup has slightly thickened. Remove from heat.

Step 2

Add ice to a shaker and fill a glass with ice. Add milk to the glass. To the shaker, add brown sugar syrup, espresso shots, and bourbon. Shake well and pour over milk. Serve immediately.
