Why did you change from Confectioners Sugar to Powdered Sugar?

Quite simply, “Powdered Sugar” has become the way the product is most commonly referred to in recipes, TV shows or by influencers, so we changed with the times. Powdered sugar is beloved for an exceptionally smooth texture that makes it ideal for frosting, fudge and candies. It’s also delicious dusted on brownies, doughnuts and cakes.

 

Can Powdered Sugar be substituted for Granulated Sugar in recipes?

Substituting Powdered Sugar for Granulated Sugar is not recommended. While both are sweet, Powdered Sugar has a much finer texture that can impact recipes.

 

Is the Confectioners / Powdered Sugar also Non-GMO?

The sugar that we use in our Powdered Sugar is Non-GMO, but due to the presence of a small bit of cornstarch (3% of total volume), the overall product cannot be verified to be in compliance with Non-GMO Project standards.
