Brown Sugar Vanilla Bar Soap

Made with two kinds of Domino® Brown Sugar and a few drops of vanilla essential oil, this soap will keep your skin feeling fresh and smelling amazing.

  • 9 ounces clear soap base
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar or Domino® Dark Brown Sugar
  • 10 to 15 drops vanilla essential oil

Yields: 6 individual soaps

Step 1

Following the manufacturer’s directions, melt the soap base on low-medium heat. Once melted, add brown sugar. Turn off heat to prevent boiling; stir with a chopstick. Add drops of essential oil. Stir until completely incorporated.

Step 2

Pour mixture into the mold.  Tap mold to remove any air bubbles. Let cool and harden at room temperature, or place in the refrigerator.

Step 3

Package soaps for gift giving, as desired.

QUICK TIP
  • Glycerin soap base and essential oil can be found in a craft store.
  • Silicone molds can be used to make soaps.
