Sweet and Sour Coleslaw

Crunchy, fresh and with the tart bite of apple cider vinegar, this refreshing take on traditional coleslaw uses Domino® Light Brown Sugar to add both sweetness and depth of flavor.

  • 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup  Apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Domino® Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt 
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Celery seeds
  • 1 small Green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 medium Carrots, peeled and shredded
  • 1/2 medium Red onion, chopped

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and celery seeds.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine all the vegetables, add the dressing. Toss until all the vegetables are well coated. Refrigerate for one hour and serve.
