
Three Brown Sugar Bacon Dessert Recipes

Choco-Bacon Candy
Yield: 12 slices of bacon; use three strips of prepared bacon to make each of the four variations below.
Bacon Ingredients
1 pound thick cut bacon
1/4 cup apple juice
3 tablespoons Domino® Pourable Light Brown Sugar
Bacon Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with foil.
Arrange bacon in a single layer on prepared sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until cooked, but not crispy.
Mix juice and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 30 seconds; set aside.
Remove bacon from oven. Use a pastry brush to coat bacon with sugar mixture. Return bacon to oven for additional 2 to 3 minutes to glaze and crisp. Watch bacon carefully so it does not to overcook.
Remove bacon from oven. Cool 5 minutes. Drain bacon on paper towel-lined platter.
Peanut Butter Choco-Bacon Candy Ingredients
3 strips glazed bacon
3 oz. chocolate chips, melted according to package directions
3 tablespoons peanut butter, microwaved at 10-second intervals until hot and pourable

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place cooling rack on top; set aside.
Place glazed bacon strips on rack. Pour melted chocolate over each bacon strip.
Pour melted peanut butter over chocolate.
Refrigerate to set.
Caramel Pecan Choco-Bacon Candy Ingredients
3 strips glazed bacon
3 oz. chocolate chips, melted according to package directions
1/2 (11 oz.) bag soft caramel candies, melted according to package directions
1/4 cup candied pecans, roughly chopped

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place cooling rack on top; set aside.

1/4 cup slivered almonds

Dip the rim of an ice cream cone in melted chocolate.
Roll chocolate-rimmed ice cream cone into chopped bacon from the flat dish. Repeat with remaining cones. Refrigerate to set.
Top each cone with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top each with some of the remaining chopped bacon from the bowl.

6 bananas
Choco-Bacon Banana Bite Directions
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
Slice each banana into approximately 10 slices for a total of 60 banana slices.
On prepared cookie sheet, sandwich one piece of bacon between 2 banana slices.
Spoon melted chocolate over the tops and sides of each banana bite. Top with chopped bacon.
Refrigerate to set.
