Strawberry Cream Cheese Tart

Surprise your Valentine with this luscious treat made with a chocolate crust, creamy filling and juicy red strawberries.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer cookie or graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Domino® Powdered Sugar
  • 1/3 cup (2/3 stick) butter or margarine, melted


  • 2 (8 oz) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
  • 4 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 cup Domino® Powdered Sugar
  • 1 pint (2 cups) strawberries, sliced
  • whipped cream, if desired
  • mint leaves, if desired



Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a medium bowl, combine cookie crumbs, sugar and butter; mix well. Press evenly on bottom and up sides of 9-inch tart or pie pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool completely.


In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, orange rind, orange juice, and confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Fill shell with cream cheese mixture and chill at least one hour or until firm.

Arrange strawberries over cream cheese filling. If desired, garnish with whipped cream and mint leaves.



Graham cracker crumbs may be substituted for chocolate cookies in the crust.
