2. Prep Jelly Roll Pans for Perfect Cake Rolls
“Line your jelly roll pan with parchment paper and spray it heavily with a flour-based cooking spray. The cake is done baking if it springs back when pressed on.
3. For Better Batter, Don’t Overmix
“Make sure your batter is mixed until just combined. Mix until you can no longer see the ingredients on their own. Overmixing cakes can leave you with a denser texture. Be careful to not overbake or underbake. Underbaking or overbaking can cause cracks in your cake, which is not ideal. Every oven is different, so make sure to check on your cake.”
