Apple Pecan Crumb
Makes 8 servings
  • prepared pastry for one-crust 10-inch tart
  • 1/2 cup Domino® Golden Sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 5 Granny Smith apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • Domino® Light Brown Sugar 1/2 cup firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a 10-inch tart pan with prepared pastry. Trim edges; set aside.

In medium bowl, combine sugar, pecans, flour, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add apples; toss well. Arrange in pastry-lined pan.


In small bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, butter, pecans and cinnamon with a pastry blender or fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal. Spoon topping over apples.

Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F; bake an additional 35 minutes. Cool on rack.
