- Domino® Golden Sugar 1 ½ cups 1 ½ cups Domino® Golden Sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 half sheet pans with parchment paper.
Sprinkle work surface with ½ cup of sugar. Place the puff pastry on top and roll a 9x15 inch rectangle and approximately 1/8 of an inch thick. Sprinkle the remaining sugar on top, covering the rectangle. Roll each long end to the center of the rectangle, making sure to roll tightly and evenly until the two ends meet in the center. Fold each of the two pieces on top of each other.
Using a chef’s knife, cut ½-inch thick slices of the puff pastry. Place the palmiers open-faced on a lined sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Chef's Tip
Add a little cinnamon to the sugar mixture to spice up the cookie.
